Finished Project: Gretel Hat
Kate recently finished a second version of her design in the latest Knitscene, the Setesdal Love Hat (rav link) (web link).

For this version, she went with a bluey/green palette of Canopy Fingering, and used Palm Bud (pale blue) for the main color and Chiclet Tree (chartreuse) and Quetzal (peacock blue) for the contrast colors.

The hat is designed with a close fitting circumference with added length and enough extra slouch to cover your ears, and the Fair Isle and stripe patterning provides the right amount of interest in the knitting.

Knitting this hat is pretty addicting and Kate is already planning another colorway – this time in neutrals, probably Orchid and River Dolphin paired with a bright contrast color….she’s just not sure which one yet!
